Every number in our impact report represents a real person — a grandmother who received life-saving medication, a grandfather who found companionship after years of isolation, a community that learned to cherish its elders.
Our programs are designed for sustainability. By training local volunteers and partnering with ward leaders, we ensure that elder care becomes a permanent part of community culture, not a temporary intervention.
Looking Ahead
By 2028, EWAKI aims to reach every district in the Kigoma region, establishing at least one community care hub per district and training 500 volunteer caregivers. With your support, we can make dignified aging a reality for every elder in western Tanzania.
